The “experts” attempted to impose negative limiting labels suggesting: blindness would limit David’s ability to succeed at school, in sports or work. “My family, teachers and coaches helped me understand the power of hard-work, positive expectations and mental-toughness in-order for me to overcome the challenge of a disability”.
